Joao Crus inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame, June 2nd 2007

Dripping Springs resident Joao Crus was inducted into the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, California on June 2nd. This honor was awarded to him in recognition of his pioneering efforts in his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program and founding the Texas Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation. "I was surprised when I found out about this award, but receiving it really reinforced my confidence in knowing I am on the right track." Crus explained.

Mr. Crus traveled to L.A. to accept his award as well as network with other leading Martial Art schools. "The industry is all pointing towards mixed Martial Arts�and those of us who are willing to expand our visions and expectations about all of the many different styles are the ones who will be stronger programs in the future," Crus continued.

Many Martial Art schools have joined Joao Crus Jiu-Jitsu affiliated program in order bring the art of BJJ to their dojo. Mr. Crus has produced a series of instructional DVDs, both for children and adults, and has been commended by many on his great teaching skills and attention to detail.
